Short Film: Third Floor
The idea for the short film “Third Floor” stems from my connection with students at a school where I was their theater teacher. I taught them acting, directing, and design. My concern was to understand all students with different spirits. Many of them were expelled or in danger of expulsion for various reasons by the school and other teachers. One day, I invited them to my home and listened to their stories. Retelling these stories by students led to the formation of the short film “Third Floor.”
The film narrates the life of a female painter who invites her students for a day of work at her home, but behind this invitation, events unfold.
Abolfazl Abiri is credited as the cinematographer for the film.
